Meet Jessica

Jessica Simonetti is the owner of Passion & Pilates. In addition to being comprehensively certified through Balanced Body University, Jessica is also certified through the Pilates Method Alliance. Jessica has also studied extensively under Shari Berkowitz of the the Vertical Workshop. Having received a degree in Nutrition, Jessica felt her true calling was to teach others about the great benefits she herself had experienced through her personal Pilates practice which she began 20 years ago upon moving to Boston. Her curiosity to delve deeper into the understanding of the fusion of mind and body led her to become a personal trainer and group fitness instructor and later go on to complete her Pilates certifications. Jessica sees teaching movement as a vehicle for empowerment and confidence.

Meet Andreina

Andreina: goes by Andi. Born in Venezuela, Andreina graduated with a BS/D in Physical Therapy from URHCP in Caracas, Venezuela. She earned her residency at Brigham's and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. Neurology ICU for Spinal Cord Injuries and in Orthopedics. ACL LARS knee replacements, are her specializations. She is certified in Classical Pilates and is a Teacher Trainer with Classical Pilates Education.

Andreina’s personal workouts of choice are running, pilates, and yoga. Teaching Pilates, Barre, and TRX is her passion. By integrating physical therapy techniques with her pilates instruction, Andreina is able to support her clients with a healthy, enjoyable approach to injury recovery and overall wellness.

Meet Michelle

Michelle is comprehensively certified through Balanced Body. Supporting the notion that one can do anything with an English degree, she completed her Pilates teacher training following a career in marketing. Originally introduced to Pilates more than twenty years ago as a student of master instructor Zayna Gold, Michelle always came back to Pilates for its transformative focus on mind/body balance, core strength, and purposeful movement with breath. She loves sharing Pilates with new and experienced clients alike.

Meet Morgan

With a passion for health and wellness, Morgan holds a Pilates Certified Teacher (PCT) - Classical Pilates Education certification. New to Boston, Morgan is a graduate student at Boston University, pursuing her passion for teaching Pilates and working with people.

Certified to train on all apparatuses, Morgan focuses on promoting strength, flexibility, and overall fitness.

Meet Sandra

Sandra’s dedication to fitness has been a lifelong pursuit, encompassing a diverse range of workout routines. However, her journey with Pilates began a decade ago, leading her to prioritize this method for its unparalleled benefits in enhancing strength, flexibility, and balance. Her passion for Pilates prompted her to pursue a Comprehensive Certification in 2020, with Balanced Body, and she has been actively sharing her expertise as a Pilates instructor ever since. Currently advancing her skills further, Sandra is working towards achieving her Master Trainer Certification with Classical Pilates Education, with an anticipated completion by the upcoming fall season.

Meet Adit

Adit recently moved to the Brookline with her family. Pilates, for Adit, is a way of life. With years of experience as a seasoned Pilates apparatus instructor, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice. Having studied under the renowned Boulder Method and holding a PMA (Pilates Method Alliance) certification, she is well-versed in the intricacies of Pilates techniques and principles. Her classes are designed to be both challenging and accessible, catering to a diverse range of abilities and fitness levels. Adit’s commitment to continuous learning and personalized instruction ensures that each of her students achieves their fitness goals while gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation for the art of Pilates.

Meet María

María Muñoz-Ramos is a lawyer and Pilates Instructor. Her Pilates journey started in 2017 when she was diagnosed with scoliosis, and her chiropractor recommended the method. Since then, movement has been an integral part of her everyday life. Her practice has helped her with her scoliosis, and she is more balanced in all aspects of life.

After practicing Pilates Reformer for two years, she became an instructor. In 2019, she completed a Classical Pilates beginner Mat Certification, and in 2022, she completed all the required courses for the comprehensive certification with Balanced Body Pilates. In her classes, she likes to work the body and move the spine in all directions. Moreover, she wants clients to be aware that the concentration, breathing techniques, control, and precision used to perform the exercises can be taken out of the studio and applied in their daily professional and personal activities.
